BG POLICE
Citations Dec. 26:
Police responded to the 800 block of East Napoleon Road for a vehicle theft. When the vehicle was recovered, Frankie Hernandez, 42, BG, was arrested on warrants through BGPD, Wood County and Hancock County sheriff’s offices as well as for receiving stolen property.
Three hours later, on Dec. 27, Hernandez again was charged with receiving stolen property and Sheri Rister, 43, Toledo, was arrested for two counts receiving stolen property and possession of drug abuse instruments.
Both were taken to jail.
One count of receiving stolen property against Hernandez and Rister were later dismissed. Both pleaded guilty to the second charge.
Hernandez was placed on two years of community control. Rister was placed on three years of community control after also pleading guilty to the drug charge.
Citations Dec. 28:
Jared Smith, 19, Bowling Green, was arrested for domestic violence and was taken to jail.
Citations Dec. 29:
Kelley Stevens, BG, was cited for failure to confine dogs and animals running at large after police were dispatched to the 900 block of North Summit Street on a report of two lost dogs. This is the fourth time this year she has been cited for similar incidents.
Open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle: Russell Downard, BG
Police responded to the 300 block of East Evers Avenue for a suspicious incident, and took a report of a stolen wallet at the mall.

Police responded to the 2000 block of Napoleon Road for a stolen stop sign.
