Jody Lynn Carroll, wife of Scotty Carroll passed away on December 29, 2022. Born November 28, 1968 to Janet Lynn Bingham, Jody grew up in Wood County Ohio and spent her teen years in Pike County Kentucky where she graduated from Elkhorn City High School.
Following High School, Jody Married Scotty Carroll in 1989. She held the role as mother and military spouse until his retirement. She Completed her BA and Master’s Degree of Education from Bowling Green State University. Jody worked as a teacher until her passing.
She is preceded in death by her mother in law Erma Carroll, father in law Earnest Carroll and Nephew Marcus Lawayne Haddix. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Scotty Carroll; Daughter Scotti Sue (Susie) Sayers (Jason Allen); Mother Janet Bingham; Sister Camillia Haddix (Samuel Wayne); Brother Chad Rhodes; Grandchildren Stephanie Allen, Sierra Allen, Janie Sayer, Moirin Sayers and Jason Sayers; Nieces Olivia Stimmell, Ebony Haddix, Jobeca Williams (Josiah) and Emma Haddix; Nephews Jacob Stimmell (Christopher Chavez), Chase Stimmell and Randall Steele Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jody was comforted to the end by her husband Scotty and her beloved pets. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to send donations to the Wood County Humane Society.

The funeral will be Jan. 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Perrysburg Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
