A Bowling Green woman has reported being sexually assaulted in her home.
Bowling Green police took the report Wednesday around 9 p.m.
were called to the 200 block of East Court Street.
The woman who is in her 20s, told police she had been sexually assaulted by a man she had met on a dating app. The two began communicating Tuesday.
She invited him to her apartment around 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.
She did not have any furniture in her living room so she invited him to sit with her on her bed, according to the report. She said they engaged in small talk for a while before he climbed on top of her.
The man then allegedly held her down and sexually assaulted her before leaving the apartment after approximately 30 minutes.
According to the report, the woman told police she had asked the man to stop at least three times.
She told police his profile identified him as a 21-year-old from Grand Rapids.
The incident is under investigation.
