Senior center offers events, lunch and dinner

The following events will take place next week through the Wood County Committee on Aging/Wood County Senior Center.

Meals

Lunch menu: Monday all sites closed, Tuesday pork chop or vegetable lasagna, Wednesday meatloaf or stuffed chicken breast, Thursday chili or ham and potato soup, Friday pork roast or cubeb steak.

Dinner Menu: Tuesday turkey pot roast stew, Wednesday teriyaki salmon, Thursday roast pork.

*Dinner reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day you wish to attend.

Reader’s Café Obtain a copy of the book “The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry” by Gabrielle Zevin by loan and then come on Jan. 24 at 3 p.m. to watch the movie and then discuss the comparisons between the book and the movie. Advanced registration is required by emailing [email protected] or call 419.353.5661.

No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute.
