Julie K. Hines, age 63, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. She was born on November 22, 1959, in Napoleon to Maurice I. “Moe” & Judith A. (Brell) Hines.
Surviving Julie is her mother, Judy of Bloomdale; and her sister, Carolyn Sue Hines of Holland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice “Moe” Hines.
Julie was a 1981 graduate of Wood Lane School in Bowling Green, and then worked many years for Wood Lane Industries Community Employment Services. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomdale, and among many hobbies over the years she enjoyed watching basketball and football games, had a fascination for trains, and dearly loved her furry dog companion, Bella.
Friends will be received from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomdale, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Arnold Betz officiating.
