St. Mark’s holds Longest Night Worship Service

Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays. Dealing with the death of a loved one can make parties and joviality painful for many people.

On Dec. 21, which is known as “the Longest Night of the Year,” St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and its Griefshare program will be offering a special worship service for those who are feeling blue this Christmas. The service, which starts at 6:30 p.m., will provide a sacred space for those living through dark times. This service will be contemplative and reflective, looking to the light Christ for healing and hope. All are invited and welcome to attend.

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church is located at 315 S. College Drive.
