A Bowling Green man accused of playing music too loud and then threatening the woman who asked him to turn it down has been cited.
Bowling Green police were called to the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue at 7:43 p.m. Sunday on a report of a woman being threatened.
The alleged victim told police that a man, later identified as Ladarius Drones, was outside her apartment listening to loud music. She said she approached the vehicle and asked the man to turn the music down, at which time he called her a derogatory name, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.
The woman went inside, and Drones turned the music up louder. She returned to the car and asked him again to turn the music down.
That is when Drones allegedly got out of the vehicle and threatened the woman, according to the report.
A witness exited a nearby apartment and heard Drones make the threats, according to the police report.
Drones, 27, who is a neighbor to the complainant, was cited for menacing.
