PERRYSBURG — Here’s what’s going on at Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Ave., next week.
Registration for November’s Spice of the Month Basil is still open. Registrants will receive a sample packet of November’s spice, a recipe that features that spice, and a little bit of history about it when they pick up their packet beginning on Monday at 9 a.m. at the Circulation Desk.
Use Way Library’s database, A-Z World Foods, for more new recipes. Find it on the website under Digital Resources. The Spice of the Month Club is sponsored by the Way Public Library Foundation & Friends.
Way Public Library Foundation & Friends’ Fall Book Sale starts Nov. 10. The sale will span three days at the following times: Nov. 10 from 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m.; Nov. 11 from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Nov. 12 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday will be half-price day.
Thousands of books will be available with bargains in all genres and for all ages. The sale will be held in the library’s lower level.
Books will be sold for $12.50/large bag, $5/small bag, or at individual prices. Bags will be provided. On Saturday, November 12, all books will be half of the regular price. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. All proceeds benefit the library.
