A Worthington man who said he was harassed in a Bowling Green haunted attraction has been banned from the spooky event.

Bowling Green Police Division officers were dispatched to the Woodland Mall, 1234 N. Main St., for a report of a possible assault on Sunday at 8:26 p.m.

Henry Lumpe, 21, told police that he was in the haunted house when one of the actors forcibly removed his hat and grabbed some of his hair.

Lumpe chased the actor and got his hat back, according to the report.

Staff members then escorted Lumpe out of the attraction.

Lumpe then reportedly started telling customers not to go into the attraction.

Officers told Lumpe that he could leave and the incident would be “squashed.” He refused.

Lumpe was charged with criminal trespass.

He was advised to contact the prosecutor’s office to pursue his own allegations against the staff.
