Bowling Green High School

The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Isabella Espinosa is the October 2022 Student of the Month.

Espinosa is a senior at BGHS and will graduate on May 28. She is the daughter of Angel and Laura Espinosa.

Her school honors and activities include membership in the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honors Society. She has received the Ohio Seal of Biliteracy for high levels of proficiency in English and Spanish.

Espinosa has been a member of the varsity swim team for four years and a junior class officer. She has been awarded the Woody Herman Jazz Award which recognizes an outstanding jazz student.

Outside of school, she is a server at Stone Ridge Golf Club and is also a lifeguard at the Bowling Green City Pool. She has volunteered at the Wood County District Public Library and the Bowling Green Community Center as a scorekeeper.

Espinosa has a 4.35 GPA and has taken numerous AP courses at the high school.

After high school, Espinosa plans to attend Notre Dame or Case Western to study biochemistry with a pre-med focus.
