Otsego High School

Carson Lathrop was named the senior September Student of the Month at Otsego High School.

Starting in September, the school began naming a Penta Career Student of the Month. The honoree was Sophie Kepling.

Also honored were junior Dakota Moses, sophomore Carter Lampe and freshman Brennyn Treen.

Lathrop is the son of Kristin Lathrop. He participates in track and Knight Have Your Back.

He is undecided on his post-high school plans.

Kepling is the daughter of Dawn Kepling. She participates in National Technical Honor Society and the drug-free club at Penta.

She is FCCLA state secretary, a Penta ambassador and has been on the OHS bowling team for four years.

She has volunteered at the Apple Butter Festival and Bowling Green State University Christian food pantry and plans to attend Owens Community College then BGSU to study family and consumer science.

Moses is the son of Danielle Miller. He plays percussion in the band.

Lampe is the son of Andy and Erin Stickel. He is a member of student council, FFA, FCA and 4-H and participates in football, basketball and track.

He has been a camp counselor and has volunteered at the Apple Butter Fest and on the clean-up crew at the national tractor pull.

Treen is the daughter of Jeremy and Nicole Treen. She has participated in the school musicals, swing choir and FFA and is on the JV cheerleading squad and the competition cheer team.

She volunteers at the elementary school.
