Robert “Bob” Rywalski passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 83.

Bob was born and raised in Toledo. He attended Toledo Central Catholic High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Juris Doctorate cum laude degrees from the University of Toledo.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his wife of 59 years going on walks and traveling. His favorite trip was going to Italy. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Bob enjoyed athletics as he was an avid Notre Dame fan, active in the youth athletic programs at St. Patrick’s of Heatherdowns, and enjoyed golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Gertrude Rywalski, his daughter Michelle Rywalski, and grandson Ryan Buchholz.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Kraus) Rywalski, his son Mike (Danielle) Rywalski, his daughter and Lynn (Brian) Buchholz, his son Eric (Kristin) Rywalski, his sister Pat(Alan) and his grandchildren: Tyr Pickett, Mariah Pickett, Zack Buchholz, Grace Buchholz, Grant Rywalski, Elle Rywalski, Iris Rywalski and Freddy Rywalski.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home. Father Tom McQuillen will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday October 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Bob’s ultimate place of rest will be in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio with his daughter Michelle. In lieu of sending flowers, please consider donations to any of the following:
