Raphael Alfredo Telles passed away at his home in Spokane, Washington, on Thursday February 17th 2022. He was born April 18, 1957 to Manuel and Ophelia (Olivarez) Telles. Raphael was a 1975 graduate of Otsego and Penta County Vocational High Schools he completed general studies and welding courses. He lived Columbus, Ohio, Texas and Scottsdale Arizona before finally moving to Spokane Valley.

He was employed as a trouble shooter for Comcast and was known in his neighborhood for his generous BBQ cookouts in the summer time. Raphael attended St Mary’s Catholic Church in Spokane Valley. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary’s Council Number 4196, he was in order of the 4th degree.

Surviving him are Three sisters Julie Gutierrez ,Tontogany Blacita Telles Portland ,Oregon and Margaret Chapman Boling Green and Four Brothers Rudolpho Telles, Weston, Arthur Telles Weston, Robert (Donna )Telles, Portage and Thomas “Paul” Telles, Weston. Raphael is also survived by many friends ,coworkers and fellow members of St, Mary’s church and Knights of Columbus. Raphael was preceded in death by both parents Manuel and Ophelia Telles

a sister Maria Garcia and his brothers Lee, Manuel Jr. ,Samuel and David.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday September 27, 2022 at the Tontogany Cemetery in Tontogany, Ohio.
