Registration is now open for the 4th Annual BG Zombie Mud Run to be held at the BG Obstacle Course Trail
on Oct. 6.
People of all ages have taken to the BG Obstacle Course for this event. Past participants have ranged
from age 5 through age 74 and all ages in between.
The BG Zombie Mud Run is a fun run/race where participants wear a flag football belt and run the
approximate 1-mile trail behind the BG Community Center which will include plenty of obstacles to
navigate, mud to journey through, and dozens of zombies to evade.
The goal is to make it to the finish line with at least one of three flags still intact and be declared a
survivor. The zombies will do all they can to grab and pull off flags along the way and “infect you.”

Purchase Zombie Repellent Spray Bottles. There will be three refill stations along the way. Proceeds will
benefit the Bowling Green High School DECA program.
There is a new format this year.
The Zombie Sprint is a competitive run for teens 12 years old and older, and adults. There will be three
heats beginning at 12:45 p.m.
The Zombie Jog is a run run for all ages and will have three heats beginning at 1:15 p.m.
Race day registration and check-in begins at 1 p.m. Register early to guarantee a T-shirt, and register
before Sunday to save $5 on the registration fee.
