Wrestling referee classes
FINDLAY — Wrestling referee classes for new officials wishing to be a registered OHSAA referee will be
held on seven consecutive Thursday nights beginning Oct. 10.
Classes, which will run from 6-8:30 p.m., will be held at the Findlay-Hancock County Library in downtown.

BG youth basketball league registration
Registration is open for the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation’s youth basketball league.
Skills assessments begin next week Sept. 30-Oct. 3. Skills assessment will be on the following dates and
times:
Kindergarten: 5:30-6:30 p.m., Oct. 3.
1st-2nd grade: 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Grades 3-6 Boys: 5:30-7 p.m. Monday.
Grades 3-6 Girls: 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday.
Skills assessments are drop in and only take about 15-20 minutes.
Children in grades K-4 will compete in age appropriate divisions (3 v 3 games) and children in grades 5-6
will compete in 5 v 5 games using certified officials.
Leagues begin the week of Oct. 14. Costs are $53/resident and $62/non-resident for K-4th grade
participants (includes shirt). Costs are $75/resident and $84/non-resident for 5th-6th grade
participants (includes reversible jersey).
