Accidents occurred:
March 6
• at Weston Road, north of Poe Road. Preston Pixler, Grelton, was cited for failure to control.
• at Dunbridge Road, near Simonds Road. Megan Danner, Luckey, was cited for failure to control after her
vehicle struck a utility pole, and came to a rest in the middle of the northbound lane. The vehicle was
subsequently struck by Richard Amos, BG.
• at Sand Ridge Road, east of Potter Road. Dalia Underwood, Weston, was cited for failure to control
after her vehicle rolled over and came to rest on its tires.
• at Mercer Road, south of Newton Road. Devon Grendow, Huron, was cited for failure to control after he
struck a plowed snow drift at the end of the roadway.

Accidents occurred:

• at West Poe Road and North Main Street. Elizabeth Trabbic, BG, was cited for right-of-way at a left
turn after a crash with Robert Parker, BG.
An attempt to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Fairview
Avenue. The muffler pipe of the vehicle was also damaged.
A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in another incident in the 1000 block of Fairview.
A hit-skip incident was reported in the 800 block of Fourth Street.

March 5 citations:
Expired registration, no seat belt: Justin Starkey, BG.
Possession of drug abuse instruments: James Gill, BG.
Driving under suspension: Robert Hamilton, Walbridge; Marcel McGowan, BG.
Open container: Jessica Wright, BG.
Accidents occurred:
March 5
• at West Newton Road and Haskins Road. Alexander Leininger, Swanton, was cited for assured clear
distance ahead after a collision with Collin Austin, BG.
Mark Miller, 26, BG, was arrested on an active BGPD warrant and taken to jail. He was also charged with
possession of schedule III drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At South Main Street, Lauren Leonard, 19, Rossford, was arrested on a Rossford Police warrant for failure
to appear. She was taken to jail.
