To the Editor:
I am excited to wholeheartedly endorse Judge Aram Matthew Ohanian to retain his position as Perrysburg
Municipal Court Judge.
I have known Ohanian since 1991 when we began law school together at the University of Toledo College of
Law. I have worked with Aram as a fellow student and as an attorney. Aram began his law career as a
public defender in the Perrysburg Municipal Court before working as an assistant prosecutor in the Wood
County Prosecutor’s Office. Over the past 27 years, I have always known him to be patient, open-minded,
compassionate and yet firm, understanding and someone who approaches cases and issues with common sense.

Ohanian is a husband and father of three children who are attending or have graduated from Perrysburg
schools. He is an active community volunteer in the City of Perrysburg, a parent leader in the Boy
Scouts, past president of the Perrysburg Exchange Club and past president of the Northern Wood County
Republican Club.
He exhibits the qualities and characteristics that make a great judge. Further, Ohanian’s background and
experience and strong ties to the community make him uniquely qualified to continue to serve as judge of
the Perrysburg Municipal Court.
Please vote to retain Ohanian on May 7.
