Route 6 closure among new projects announced by ODOT

The Ohio Department of Transportation has released its weekly update on projects affecting Wood County
drivers. All work is weather permitting.
Effective Tuesday through Sept. 8, U.S. 6, in both directions between Range Line Road and Ohio 235, will
be closed for railroad repair.
Effective Tuesday through November, northbound Ohio 420, between Ohio 163 to I-280, will be reduced to
one lane for widening. Restrictions on southbound Route 420 will be announced. Project complete: July
2015. Through December, Gypsy Lane Road in Bowling Green is closed for bridge repair due to an earlier
accident. Effective Tuesday through September, Range Line Road, between Cygnet Road and Hammansburg
Road, will be closed for bridge replacement. Additional bridges and restrictions will be announced.
Intermittent lane and shoulder restrictions are possible at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Lime City
Road for turn lane addition. Additional restrictions will be announced. Project complete: October.
 Through October, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Ohio 18 from Mitchell Road in North
Baltimore to Rose Street in Bloomdale; work includes resurfacing on Route 18 in North Baltimore. Through
mid-September, Route 18 at I-75 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge work. Project
complete: November.
Through mid-September, Ohio 65, between Hull Prairie Road and Roachton Road, will be closed for bridge
repair.
Through November, lane restrictions are possible on Route 65, from West Boundary Street to the Waterville
bridge, for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Additional closures will be announced.

Through September, Ohio 281, between Henry/Wood County Line and Weston Road, is closed for culvert
replacement.  Local access will be maintained.
Through 2016, southbound I-75 will be reduced to two lanes from U.S. 20 to I-475 Perrysburg,
Through September, overnight from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., single lane restrictions and traffic shifts are
possible on I-75, from Route 20 in Perrysburg to County Road 99 in Hancock County, for pavement repair
and barrier wall installation.
Through November, Bays Road at I-75, and Jerry City Road, at I-75 will be closed for bridge work.
Work on U.S. 23, between Ohio 105 and U.S. 6, is now complete.
