Ohio’s haunted history featured at library

Do you love a good ghost story or are you an amateur ghost hunter yourself?
Then the Wood County District Public Library has the perfect event for you. On Oct. 29, storytellers will
regale visitors with tales of strange sounds, flashing lights, cold spots and ghostly apparitions. This
year’s stories feature sites from all around Ohio.
“This is the fifth year for this event, and I think it gets better every year,” said Marnie Pratt, local
history librarian. “Our volunteers really enjoy researching and creating their stories, and I think it’s
their creativity that brings the tales to life and makes the event so much fun.”
The event will start at 6:30 in the library’s atrium, and there will be Halloween treats for all
visitors. Registration is not required.
