No one injured in freight train derailment in southwest Ohio

WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (AP) — No one was injured when some cars on a Norfolk Southern freight train
derailed Tuesday in southwestern Ohio.
The derailment took place around 4:15 a,m. near the intersection of U.S. 127 and Oxford Trenton Road.
About 15 cars of the 40-car train came off the tracks. Some of the cars overturtned.
No one was injured and there were no reports of hazardous materials, Butler County Emergency Management
director Matt Haverkos told the Dayton Daily News.
The train derailment shut down part of U.S. 127.
