NEW ROCHESTER –  In keeping with tradition St. Paul Lutheran Church, New Rochester, will be celebrating
its Mission Sunday Oct. 12.
However, the topic is modern as the focus will be on helping the survivors of sex trafficking.
Jeff Wilbarger from The Daughter Project will be the featured speaker.
Wilbarger graduated from the University of Toledo in 1987, teaching students mathematics and physics at
various high schools and the University of Toledo. Shocked by the reality of trafficking and inspired by
God, he founded The Daughter Project in 2008.
The project family has built and is operating Ohio’s first licensed group home for adolescent sex
trafficking survivors and Wilbarger serves as the executive director.
An informal presentation will be held at 9 a.m., where questions and comments will be welcomed. The
speaker will present different and additional information during the regular 10:15 a.m. church service.

A potluck dinner will follow.
The public is invited to attend.
