Boil advisory reduced in Haskins
HASKINS — A boil advisory has expired for most of the village.
High Street is still under the advisory, which was issued Wednesday when a water line break was reported
at Findlay and High streets.
East Wooster private construction closes lanes
In conjunction with private construction in the vicinity of 1540 E. Wooster St., lane closures are
necessary.
Beginning Monday at 8 a.m., East Wooster Street, between Alumni Drive and Mercer Road, will be reduced to
one lane in each direction. The contractor has indicated that this work will last until approximately
May 24.
PERI meets, senior center is topic
Public Employee Retirees Inc. will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at First United Methodist Church, 1526 E.
Wooster St.
Updates regarding health insurance and HRA reimbursement will be addressed as well as current legislative
concerns which affect PERI.
Guest speaker will be Denise Neise, executive director of the Wood County Committee on Aging.
She will talk about the services offered by the Bowling Green Senior Center and give an update on the new
senior center building.
BG school board meets
The Bowling Green City Schools Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Performing Arts Center, 540 W. Poe Road.
A federal program public hearing will be held at 4:45 p.m.
Historic preservation committee meets
The City of Bowling Green Historic Preservation Commission will hold a public meeting on May 24 at 3:30
p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
