The Wood County District Public Library will be close starting at 5 this afternoon and remain closed
through the end of March. This will apply to the Bowling Green library, the Walbridge library and to the
Bookmobile.
Setting a re-opening date will depend on guidance from the Wood County Health Department.
The library is asking all patrons to keep all items they have checked out now.
Due dates of items already checked out will be changed to a new due date in mid-April.
Patrons are invited to utilize the array of online library resources available at wcdpl.org.
“The board does not take the action of closing lightly, and does so out of an abundance of caution for
the safety of library patrons and library staff during the current coronavirus outbreak,” said Michael
Penrod, library director, in a statement.
