INVITATION TO BID SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the WOO-
W. POE RD. – 4.06 RESURF WEST POE ROAD RESURFACING PROJECT Will be received by the City of Bowling
Green, Ohio at the office of the Municipal Administrator, in the City Administrative Services Building,
304 North Church Street, until 2:00 PM DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2014 And at that time
and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project involves pavement planing and resurfacing
of 1.89 miles of West Poe Rd. from Mitchell Rd. to North Grove St., including areas of full depth
pavement repair, pavement under drain installation, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalks, curb ramps
and pavement markings. The Engineer’s estimate of construction cost for this project is $1,296,000.00
The project is funded in part by a Federal Highway Administration federal funding program administered
by the Ohio Department of Transportation. Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for
this PROJECT. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and
through the life of the construction contract. The contract documents, including drawings and
