To the Editor:
A writer in the Oct. 15th issue of the Sentinel-Tribune questions why Congressman Bob Latta has not
answered their invitation to come to a Walbridge village council meeting. She opines that their
"small community doesn’t deserve a visit."
If she had been the victim of the venomous letters that have consistently come out of Walbridge,
primarily written by one author, she wouldn’t want to go there either.
Apparently, though, she did get his attention. Not responding to an obvious plan of attack seems to be a
sensible move. Furthermore, the tone of those letters are a pretty good indication that there would be
no chance of an intelligent discussion with give and take on both sides.
