PERRYSBURG – Stacey Hoffman, M.D., has joined Kingston HealthCare as the medical director and attending
physician.
Hoffman’s initial focus is to manage Kingston’s stroke recovery program and other specialized services
that will further enhance Kingston’s clinical expertise. She will immediately serve patients at Kingston
Rehabilitation of Perrysburg.
"Kingston is one of the few skilled nursing facilities in the U.S. to bring a full-time medical
doctor on staff," states George Rumman, CEO Kingston HealthCare Company. "Over the years, we
have successfully met the challenge of treating patients with higher acuity levels; however, we must
continually strive for even better patient outcomes.  Having a specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine who
is solely focused on Kingston’s quality and patient care shows our commitment to truly being the best
choice for patient recovery."
Hoffman received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from University of Toledo College of Medicine. She worked
as a registered nurse on the medical/surgical floor at University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) while
completing her degree. She also completed her residency at UTMC.
As a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, she is trained in the treatment of conditions
related to the brain spinal cord, muscles, and bones, spanning from traumatic brain injury (including
stroke) to lower back pain.
Hoffman said, "I chose Kingston because I knew that I would be part of pioneering a program that
will make a difference in so many lives. My goal is that the community benefits from the same
choice"
The center recently opened a dedicated program to support patients who require stroke recovery between
hospital and home.
