Eastwood FFA barbecue set for Oct. 10
PEMBERVILLE – The annual Eastwood FFA chicken barbecue will be held Oct. 10 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the
Eastwood Middle School cafeteria.
To purchase a ticket, see an Eastwood FFA member or call the Eastwood High School Office at 419-833-3611
and ask for the Agricultural Education department. Adult tickets are $9 each and include a half chicken,
a baked potato, applesauce, a roll and drink.
For children and senior citizens meals, the cost is $6 each and include 1‚Ñ4 chicken, 1/2 baked potato,
applesauce, a roll and drink. Desserts are also available at the door for $1 per serving. FFA members
will be selling pre-sale tickets through Oct. 2.
A limited amount of walk up sales will be available on the Oct. 10.
4-H club to host benefit for Miranda Cleveland family
Recently, Eastwood Schools, the school’s FFA chapter and a 4-H club member, saw the death of one of its
own, Miranda Cleveland.
The Lead, Feed, and Speed 4-H Club will be sponsoring a benefit for her family to help cover some of the
final expenses.
The show will include a memorial dedication and a candlelight vigil. The show will be held on Sept. 13 at
the Gibsonburg Saddle Club starting at 2 p.m.
