Fall into Saturday programs at Terra

FREMONT – "Saturdays are for Kids" is a hands-on series offered this fall by Lifelong Learning
at Terra State Community College.
The classes are geared toward students in grades one through six who love to try new things.
Students can register for each class individually but will receive a 20-percent discount for enrolling in
three or more.
Class sizes are limited to eight.
All materials are included in the $29 fee per class. The schedule is (all classes are 10 a.m. to noon):

• Sun Catchers and Colors – Students will learn about color basics, how to mix their own colors from
primary colors, and then design their own work of art. Sept. 27.
• Octoberfest-Kids Style – In this ghastly class, kids will have a ghoulish time making scary goodies.
Oct. 18.
• Turkey Pi√±ata – Learn about the history of the pi√±ata and then make one for Thanksgiving Day. Nov.
22.
• Holiday Cookie Party – In this tasty class, help make and decorate a variety of cookies, you can eat
them, too. Dec. 20.
