Joe McKeown, a forward for the Wellington Dukes in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, has verbally
committed to play collegiately at Bowling Green.
It hasn’t been decided when the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder will join the Falcon program.
McKeown has 10 goals and 10 assists, including four power-play goals, in 36 games this season. He had 14
goals and 12 assists in 58 games last season, with five of the goals coming on the power play.
McKeown turns 20 in September and is from Campbellford, Ontario.
He’s the 13th recruit who will join the Falcons for the 2014-15, 2015-16 or 2016-17 season. The others
consist of eight forwards, three defensemen and one goalie.
