BGHS track/cross country spaghetti dinner fundraiser
Tonight from 5 to 8, a spaghetti dinner will be served at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church to benefit the BGHS
cross country and track teams.
The cost is $8 per person, $5 for children under 10. Pop and water is 50 cents.
The meal is dine in or carry out.
The 25-year-old Bobcat cross country and track team tent was destroyed by wind. Replacement cost is
significant.
Both teams also are raising funds to purchase shared warm-ups.
Pagliai’s Pizza is furnishing the meal, which includes spaghetti with meat sauce, salad and bread sticks.

No phones, Internet at Eastwood Monday
PEMBERVILLE – On Monday, the majority of the Eastwood School District buildings will not have phone or
internet access due to the movement of the network over to the new bus garage.
The high school will be affected by this on Monday, but everything should be restored the next day.
BG Schools receive Auditor of State Award
Bowling Green City School District received the Auditor of State Award for a clean audit reports,
according to Auditor of State Dave Yost.
BG is one of eight districts in the state to receive the award.
The Auditor of State Award is presented to local governments and school districts upon the completion of
a financial audit. Entities that receive the award meet the following criteria of a "clean"
audit report: must file timely financial reports with the Auditor of State’s office in accordance with
GAAP; and the report does not contain any findings for recovery, material citations, material
weaknesses, significant deficiencies, among other criteria.
