Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball program announced the signing of forward Delvin
Dickerson Wednesday.
The 6-foot-7 Dickerson, coming from Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas, will be eligible this coming
fall.
Dickerson was named first team All-Conference and first team All-Region, earning a spot on the Region XIV
All-Tournament Team, averaging 11.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He helped lead the Dragons to a
26-8 overall record, including a 15-4 mark in conference play last season.
“Delvin Dickerson will have an immediate impact on our basketball program. Delvin brings an ability to
score the basketball both at the rim and from beyond the arc along with being a high level athlete,”
BGSU coach Chris Jans said in a press release Wednesday afternoon. “Delvin was an integral part of a
balanced championship team at Paris Junior College playing under respected coach Chuck Taylor. We
couldn’t be more excited about Delvin’s decision to continue his academic and athletic career at BGSU.”

Dickerson was ranked in the Top-100 in the Class of 2012 out of high school and signed with South Alabama
before going to Paris JC. He chose BGSU after being recruited by Murray State, Southern Mississippi and
Tennessee.
