Paris and Seine travelogue offered at Way Library
PERRYSBURG – On Wednesday at 2 p.m., Judy Pfaffenberger returns to Way Library with another entertaining
travel presentation. This time she shares highlights from her trips to Paris and the Seine. Explore
Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, "secret" Paris, the Rodin Museum and the Marches de Noel.
This is a free program, and refreshments will be served.

Kiwanis benefit at McDonald’s
On Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., the McDonald’s Restaurant on East Wooster Street will host a benefit for the
Bowling Green Kiwanis Club. The club will receive a percentage of all restaurant receipts during this
event which will be used to support the various programs sponsored by Kiwanis for the youth and children
of this community.
Bood drive Saturday in BG
This holiday season, the American Red Cross encourages individuals to give something that means something
– a blood or platelet donation. This simple, potentially lifesaving act can give patients in need
another holiday season with family and friends.
Eligible donors can learn more and schedule an appointment to give blood using the Blood Donor App, by
visiting redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
There is one blood drive in Wood County this weekend, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bowling Green
Eagles Club, 1163 N. Main St.
Prime Rib and Crab Fest raises $16,500 for Wood County Special Olympics
Over 270 community members filled the Perrysburg Graystone Banquet Hall on Nov. 8 to support Wood County
Special Olympics at the 17th annual Prime Rib and Crab Fest.
Attendees included local community members, Special Olympic athletes and their families and Wood Lane
Board members and staff.
The event raised more than $16,500 to support Wood County Special Olympics.
