On Saturday, alpaca breeders from across the United States will invite the public to come to their farm
or ranch to meet their alpacas and learn more about these inquisitive, unique animals, the luxury fiber
they produce, and why the alpaca business is perfect for environmentally conscious individuals who own
small acreage.
Again this year, Sunny Meade Alpacas will welcome visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Alpaca clothing,
pottery, local honey among other items will also be for sale. Spinning and weaving demonstrations will
done by local artisans. Sunny Meade Alpacas, Ltd. is located at 7770 Providence-Neapolis-Swanton Road,
Swanton,  just north of Grand Rapids. The rain date for the open house will be Sunday.
