3 Arrested in Truck Stop Prostitution Sting

NORTH BALTIMORE – Three men were arrested in a prostitution sting operated along three area roadways on
Tuesday.
The Wood, Hancock and Wyandot County Sheriff’s Offices conducted the sting, termed a Human Trafficking
Enforcement Operation, at truck stops along Interstate 75, Ohio 18, and Route 613.
The operation along I-75 occurred at the Petro Stopping Center on Deshler Road, North Baltimore.
Arrested during the operation were Anderson Bircheat, 48, Leeds, Alabama; Kevin Neathery, 45, Greenwood,
Indiana; and Gregory Singleton, 41, Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Each man was charged with solicitation-prostitution, a third-degree misdemeanor. The cases of Bircheat
and Neathery are pending through Bowling Green Municipal Court. Singleton’s case is pending through
Findlay Municipal Court.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office’s efforts were aided by funding from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice
Assistance Grant through Office of Criminal Justice Services.
