Woman cited for leaving baby in car

A babysitter was charged with child endangerment after she left an infant in her car for over an hour on
Monday.
Tomica D. Stone, 42, BG, was cited and released following the incident, which took place at the Bowling
Green Municipal Court.
Maj. Tony Hetrick of the Bowling Green Police said the matter was reported around 2 p.m.
The six-month-old female infant was discovered locked in a blue Lexus in the rear passenger seat,
situated in a baby carrier with a blanket over it. She had reportedly been locked in the vehicle for
over an hour in 28-degree cold.
According to the Bowling Green Municipal Court website, Stone was scheduled to be arraigned on a
misdemeanor traffic offense at 1 p.m.
The baby, who was reportedly unharmed, was released to her mother.
