A Perrysburg Township man was senteced to more than 22 years in prison after being found guilty Thursday
of multiple counts of rape and other offenses by a Wood County jury.
The verdict and sentence for Albert Tajblik, 56, comes after a two-day trial that featured, at times,
graphic testimony from his victim.
Tajblik was found guilty of two counts of rape, one count of abduction and one count of disrupting public
services in the April 13 incident at a Perrysburg Township mobile home park on Reitz Road.
He was further found not guilty of felonious assault, but the jury found him guilty of the lesser
included charge of assault.
The jury aquitted him of a third count of rape.
He was sentenced to a total of 20 years on the two rape counts, 12 months for disruption of public
services, three months for abduction, and 180 days for the assault charge. That amounts of 22 years and
six months in prison.
