To the Editor:
County commissioners have a very broad range of issues to deal with from business and jobs, to safety and
the environment, and of course agriculture. They also have to work with Bowling Green, Perrysburg and
the other municipalities in Wood County. Andy Newlove has been willing to discuss several complex city
council issues with me over the last several years. The point here is, Andy doesn’t pull any punches
during such conversations, which has allowed me to walk away with more clearly defined options. He is
smart, and compassionate, and strong. That is exactly the kind of person I want in the position of
county commissioner.
