Trafficking documentary shown tonight
The documentary film about human trafficking “Not My Life” will be screened tonight at 5:30 at the Clazel
Theater, 127 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
A discussion will follow.
Robert Bilheimer filmed the 80-minute documentary in a dozen countries on five continents with the
opening scenes set in Toledo.
People to take oath to become U.S. citizens
The public is invited to witness 50 people, including a Bowling Green State University faculty member and
student, take the oath to become U.S. citizens.
The university will host a naturalization ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Thomas B. and Kathleen M.
Donnell Theater in the Wolfe Center for the Arts. Administering the oath will be BGSU alumnus Magistrate
James Knepp.
Library elevator gets stuck
Bowling Green firefighters rescued people from a stuck elevator at the Wood County District Public
Library Monday.
The incident was reported at 7:51 p.m. and was resolved by 8 p.m. The people in the elevator were removed
without incident.
Freedom Twp. sets special mtg.
The Freedom Township Trustees have scheduled a special meeting for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the township hall in Pemberville.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss personnel.
Port Authority meets Monday
The Wood County Port Authority will meet Monday at 7:30 a.m. at Northwestern Water and Sewer, 12560
Middleton Pike.
Man hurt after driving into ditch
One man was hurt when he drove his vehicle into a ditch in rural Milton Township Tuesday.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reported that at 5:41 p.m. Chase Wright, McComb, was northbound in the
8000 block of Custar Road when he lost control of his vehicle and drove off the road, ending in a ditch.

Wright sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Weston EMS.
He was cited for failure to control.
