Weston business broken into
WESTON – An unidentified male was reportedly observed in a breaking and entering incident at a Weston
business late Thursday.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident, at the Weston Carry Out, 13565 Center
Street, at 11:39 p.m.
A male subject reportedly broke out a window and made entry into the building, and was seen exiting with
a handful of items. He then fled on foot.
The male was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Accident caused by sleepy driver
MILTON CENTER – One person was taken to the hospital Friday after reportedly falling asleep at the wheel
and crashing on Custar Road, north of Maplewood Road, northwest of the village.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that Kimberly Cavanaugh, Custar, was southbound on Custar Road
when she fell asleep. The vehicle then went off the right side of the road and into a ditch.
Cavanaugh was taken to Wood County Hospital by Weston EMS with possible injuries.
She was cited for failure to control.
Lake Township moves meeting
MILLBURY – Due to Election Day, the regular meeting for the Lake Township Trustees set for Tuesday has
been moved to Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the administration building.
