The Wood County Hospital Guild will be holding its annual Gift Shop Holiday Sale on Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. to
6 p.m. and Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The sale will take place in the meeting rooms at the hospital, which are near the cafeteria.
The sale will feature gifts for everyone on a Christmas list, holiday decorations and ornaments, knitwear
for women, purses, jewelry and scarves. New this year are colorful puzzles, books and plush items for
children.
The ever popular bake sale will include homemade jams, jellies, cookies, cakes, pies and candy donated by
many area bakers and chefs.
The annual sale is the largest fundraiser of the year for the guild. All profits will go to the guild’s
commitment of $100,000 to the Maurer Cancer Care Center at Wood County Hospital.
The guild has made its first of four payments towards this goal.
Parking is available at the back of the hospital and the cafeteria will be open for both lunch and
dinner.
