Bradner Legion hosts fish fry
BRADNER – An all-you-can-eat fish fry will be served Friday at the Bradner American Legion, 209 W.
Crocker St., from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The meal also will include choice of baked potato or fries, cole slaw, roll and beverage.
The cost is $9 and carryouts are available by calling 419-288-3634.
The public is welcome.
Dunbridge has bingo
DUNBRIDGE – The second Saturday bingo is returning to the Dunbridge Fire Hall, from 6 to 9 p.m. The
jackpot game starts at 9 p.m.
Sandwiches and pop will be available.
The event is sponsored by the Dunbridge Volunteer Fire Department. The hall is located at the corner of
Ohio 582 and Dunbridge Road.
 
Wayne distributes government food
WAYNE – The Wayne Food Pantry will be distributing food Oct. 16 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the fire hall. The
giveaway is for residents in the 43466 zip code who meet eligibility requirements.
Southern Africa travelogue offered at Way Library
PERRYSBURG – On Oct. 14 at 2 p.m., Judy Pfaffenberger returns to Way Library with her trademark humor and
attention to detail in an interesting presentation on Southern Africa.
The public is invited for this unique look at Pfaffenberger’s tour of five southern Africa countries.
Included in the travelogue are the savannas of Kruger National Park, Cape Tsown, the Cape of Good Hope,
Boulder Beach with its hundreds of penguins, the Indian Ocean Coast, the unspoiled wilderness of Chobe
National Park in Botswana, Soweta, Swaziland, a Zulu village, and the mighty Victoria Falls.
This is a free program, and refreshments will be served.
