College Graduates: 06-07-14

Ohio State University
Ashley Conner, of Bowling Green, has graduated from Ohio State University’s College of Dentistry with her
doctor of dental surgery degree.
She will be joining a practice in Dallas, TX as a general dentist in June.
Conner graduated from BGHS in 2006, and from Miami University in 2010.
Hiram College
The Ohio State University College of Optometry has announced the admission of Ashley Marsh of Luckey.
The 2010 graduate of Eastwood High School recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hiram College with her
majors in Neuroscience and Religious Studies and a minor in Biology. While attending Hiram College, she
was captain of the Terrier Sound Majorette team, secretary of Delta Chi Lambda, president of Chemistry
Club, secretary of Medicus and member of the Dance Team and Circle K.
She will enter OSU’s four year program in August of 2014. Upon her completion of the program the degree
of Doctor of Optometry will be awarded in 2018.
Hope College
Julia Windom, Bowling Green, earned a bachelor of arts in studio art and Japanese from Hope College,
Holland, Mich.
She received the Jon F. Kay Award which will provide art journal subscriptions for outstanding students.

She also received a monogrammed blanket after earning at least three varsity letters. Windom competed in
cross country.
Ashland University
The following local residents received degrees from Ashland University in May.
Eric Curavo, of Northwood, a Master of Business Administration degree with a major in Executive
Baley Bernthisel, of Grand Rapids, a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology. Bernthisel
graduated with Cum Laude honors.
Frances DiCesare, of Fostoria, a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a major in Middle Grades.
She graduated with Cum Laude honors.
Jessica Lee Jensen, of Millbury, a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a major in Early
Childhood Education. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude and Gamma Alpha Kappa honors.
University of Toledo
Hali Schwind, of Bowling Green, has earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from
The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She plans to continue to the
graduate division of the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
University of Dayton
The following local students received degrees at the University of Dayton’s spring commencement in May.:

Benjamin Miller of Bowling Green graduated Cum Laude with University Honors with a Bachelor of Chemical
Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering.
Brianna Quinones of Perrysburg graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in
International Business,
Daniel Wilczynski of Walbridge graduated with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree in Chemical
Grace College
Grace College, in Winona Lake, Indiana, conducted commencement exercises in May, and Mitchell Lee
Stewart, of Perrysburg, OH, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Stewart is a 2011 graduate of Rossford High School.
University of Detroit Mercy
Jeffrey Senecal of North Baltimore graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the College of
Business Administration at University of Detroit Mercy’s commencement ceremony in May.
Huntington University
Blair Caldwell, of Rossford, has graduated from Huntington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
College of Wooster
Adam Donnelly, a graduate of Saint John’s Jesuit High School, and Autumn Berry, a graduate of Otsego High
School, received bachelor of arts degrees from The College of Wooster.
Donnelly, a psychology major from Bowling Green, graduated magna cum laude. While at Wooster, he was
member of "Don’t Throw Shoes" (an improve troupe on campus). He was also named to the dean’s
Berry, a communication sciences and disorders major from Grand Rapids, graduated cum laude. While at
Wooster, she received APEX (Advising, Planning, and Experiential Learning Center) funding for a trip to
Burundi, Africa, and Copeland Funding for her Senior Independent Study project. She also was a Residence
Life director, a member of the Wooster chapter of the National Student Speech-Language
Hearing-Association, a member of the Communication Club, and president of the Wooster chapter of Lambda
Pi Eta national communication honor society.
