Bobcat icers beat Mentor, 6-0

SHAKER HEIGHTS — Bowling Green scored four times in the second period and twice in the third period
Sunday morning for a 6-0 win over Mentor in the Thornton Park Invitational high school hockey
tournament.
The Bobcats, 8-3 overall, finished 3-0 in the round-robin portion of the tournament and will play
Brecksville (9-2) or Rocky River (8-3) in championship game today at 4:30 p.m.
Brecksville and Rocky River played the final game of the round robin early Sunday afternoon.
Mentor is 2-12.
Adam Furnas scored two goals for BG, and Connor Senn, Grant DeWitt, Noah Dubasik and Jeremy Chambers had
the other goals.
The Bobcats held a 48-9 edge in shots. Tanner Fausnaugh, Michael Koldan and Brett Rich each had three
saves for BG.
