TUESDAY
Guest violinist Stephanie Arado with pianist Laura Melton, piano, will perform works by Wolfgang Amadeus
Mozart, Igor Stravinsky, John Adams and Karol Szymanowski at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall, Moore Musical
Arts Center. Earlier in the day at 2:30 p.m.  Arado will conduct a master class, also in Bryan Recital
Hall.
Vocal students from the studio of  Sean Cooper will perform in the Manor House at Toledo’s Wildwood
Metropark at  7:30 p.m.
"Frankenweenie," Tim Burton’s stop-motion animation homage to classic horror, science fiction,
and childhood angst, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in Gish Film Theater, Hanna Hall.
WEDNESDAY
Susan Nelson, bassoon, will be joined by guest bassoonist Eric Varner for the first Ohio performance of
"Four Signs for bassoon and bassoon/contrabassoon" by John Steinmetz during a faculty recital
at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall. Nelson will be joined by  Robert Satterlee, piano, Nermis Mieses, oboe,
and Kevin Schempf, clarinet for works including the world premiere of composition by Anna Garman
THURSDAY
The Jazz Spotlight concert will feature special guest Tim Hagans, trumpet, with the Jazz Lab Band I
directed by David Bixler at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall. Tickets are $7 and $3 for students in advance by
calling 419-372-8171. Day of concert  tickets are $ 10.
THURSDAY-SUNDAY
"The Mountaintop," a play by American playwright Katori Hall depicting the Reverend Martin
Luther King’s last night, will be staged Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. with matinees Saturday
and Sunday at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $15 from the Arts Box Office 419-372-8171 or by visiting

SUNDAY
Cole Burger, piano, will  perform Olivier Messiaen’s “Vingt Regards sur l’enfant-Jésus” in its entirety
in  a faculty recital at 3 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall
