J.D. Pooley/Sentinel-Tribune Workers with the City of Bowling Green Public Works remove snow from the middle of North Main Street Wednesday morning. They have already cleared away the snow in the downtown area, now setting their front end loaders to North Main, South Main and Wooster Street in the coming days.
A level 1 snow alert for Wood County was declared by Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn at 9:49 a.m Thursday.
In a level 1 snow alert, roadways are hazardous, with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy.
Drive very cautiously.
