The downtown utility project in Bowling Green is moving from West Wooster Street to North Church Street,
starting Monday, according to a release from the city.
The contractor has progressed west along West Wooster Street with the installation of a replacement water
line. Beginning Monday, this work will continue onto North Church Street.
Through Tuesday, North Church will be inaccessible from West Wooster.
The East Wooster Street portion of this work is tentatively scheduled to begin towards the end of next
week. This will include the area from Main to Prospect streets.
During this work, eastbound traffic along East Wooster will be maintained while the westbound lane of
traffic will be closed.
The utility portion of this project is anticipated to last through the spring of 2019. Once complete, a
contractor will repave the downtown.
