PERRYSBURG — Owens Community College will host a free spring band concert on May 5 at 2:30 p.m. at the
Fine and Performing Arts Theater on the Oregon Road campus.
The program will include selections from Broadway shows, movie music, marches and more.
Featured will be virtuoso flute soloist Marene Fondessy playing “Meditation” from “Thais” by Jules
Massenet. A trumpet trio made up of Mark Padley, Jeff Brenneman and Gloria Buck will play “Triad” by
J.J. Richards.
Free refreshments will be served in the theater lobby after the concert.
