Ohanian has experience to be judge

To the Editor:
We are writing to recommend that our communities keep Aram Matthew Ohanian as our Perrysburg Municipal
Court Judge. With the May 7 primary just a few weeks away, the citizens of the jurisdiction of the
Perrysburg Municipal Court (the cities of Perrysburg, Rossford and Northwood; the townships of
Perrysburg, Lake, and Troy; and the villages of Luckey, Millbury and Walbridge), must take action to
select the best candidate to serve as our municipal judge.
Aram Ohanian was appointed to serve as judge of Perrysburg Municipal Court in January by then-Gov. John
Kasich upon the election of Judge Molly Mack to the Wood County Court of Common Pleas.
Ohanian has been a practicing attorney for more than 24 years, with 15 of those years as a prosecuting
attorney in the Wood County Prosecutor’s office. Licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Michigan, he
has had a private civil and probate practice and has served as a public defender.
A resident of Perrysburg, married to Sherina Ohanian and the father of three children, Ohanian is
involved in many community and school related organizations, including Boy Scouts, and youth soccer and
basketball. The Ohanian family routinely volunteers in local organizations and events with Judge Ohanian
also involved with the Perrysburg Exchange Club and as a past board member of the Cocoon (Wood County’s
domestic violence shelter).
We are voting for Judge Aram Matthew Ohanian on May 7 and encourage you to do the same.
