MEDINA — Ashley Hitchcock allowed just six hits and tallied 27 strikeouts across Saturday’s doubleheader
as Eastwood shellacked Medina Buckeye 21-0 and 13-2 on Saturday.
Hitchcock allowed two hits, did not walk a batter and had 10 strikeouts across five innings in the
Eagles’ (11-1) opener. Seventeen of her 21 outs in the nightcap came via strikeout and she combined for
four hits — including a home run — and nine RBIs at the plate.
Alissa Ray had a team-high five hits on the day, including a pair of doubles. Sam Rost, Carmen Bejarano,
Mya Tuttamore, Kaitlyn Luidhart, Hannah Owens and Carleigh Coffield each had a three-hit game for
Eastwood on Saturday. Maddie Recker homered with three RBIs.

TONTOGANY — Brynne Limes allowed just one hit in leading Otsego over McComb 5-2 on Saturday.
Limes racked up nine strikeouts in the complete game win, while Hannah Smoyer led all players with two
hits for the Knights (7-3).

METAMORA — Erin Spangenberg and Brooke Mannin combined for 10 hits on Saturday as Bowling Green romped
Evergreen in a nonleague doubleheader with 16-3 and 8-2 wins.
Spangenberg had three singles, a double a home run and five RBIs to lead the Bobcats (8-3). Mannin had
four singles, a double and four RBIs.
Quinn Beeker also had four hits for BG, all singles, and Katie Devine belted a solo home run.

MILLBURY — Lake had just eight turns at the plate in Saturday’s doubleheader as the Flyers drubbed
Northwood 12-0 and 15-2 in a pair of mercy-rule wins.
Mackenzie Mickens held Northwood to just three hits in the opener, including nine strikeouts in the
complete game win for Lake (7-4). Kenzie Jackson, who had three RBIs in the first game, had six
strikeouts to earn the win in the second game.
McKenna Encalado had two hits in each game for Lake. Lily Armstrong and Teri Miller both had a three-RBI
game.

ROSSFORD — Rossford scored 25 runs on 30 hits in stomping Toledo Christian 12-7 and 13-4 in Saturday’s
nonleague doubleheader.
Emilia Christoff led the Bulldogs (6-4) with four hits in the opener and Brooke Beale drove in a
game-high five runs. Megan Jarozs struck out seven in a complete game.
Paige Kromenacker and Hannah Pierce both had three hits in the nightcap for Rossford.

BLOOMDALE — Elmwood used a pair of big innings to double up New Riegel on Saturday with a 10-5 nonleague
win.
Three Royals players had multi-hit games led by Trevor Bingham’s two doubles. Konner Logston and Cole
Barton both also had two hits for Elmwood (5-3) — which scored seven runs in the fourth inning.
Nick Reinhart singled and doubled to lead New Riegel. Cole Noftz tripled.

Noah Hahn led all players with a pair of hits in the nightcap.

Fouty singled and doubled for the Flyers (11-0) and Luke Walsh singled twice. Dawson Delventhal had two

TOLEDO — Perrysburg’s bats went cold on Saturday as the Yellow Jackets were stymied by Archbold in an
11-0 nonleague loss at Fifth Third Field in Toledo.
Perrysburg, which fell to 8-3, had just one hit and one walk. Darringom Cam, in a pinch-hit at-bat,
singled for the Yellow Jackets’ only hit.
Archbold (9-1) racked up 18 hits, including five players with multiple hits.

ROSSFORD — Rossford claimed a fifth-inning lead, but Swanton rallied with a pair of two-run innings to
finish the game with a 7-5 win on Saturday.
