Best, Beach join Zepf Center in BG

Deb Flores, chief executive officer of Zepf Center, has announced two personnel additions in Bowling
Green.
Dr. Angela Best is a psychiatrist with over 35 years experience in Northwest Ohio. Best has worked in
both private practice and community behavioral health centers. She earned her medical degree from the
former Medical College of Ohio, now known as the University of Toledo Medical Center.
Best has a large following of patients and is well known throughout the area in behavioral healthcare.
Her dedication to patients through the years has made her a sought-after provider for psychiatric
wellness. Her positive reputation is due to including family education and involvement in a patient’s
care and taking an interest in patient progress in counseling and other mental health programs.
Katie Beach is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with 10 years’ experience working with youth and young
adults. Beach has worked in both private practice and community behavioral health centers. She graduated
from the University of Toledo earning degrees in nursing in 2006 and a master’s of science and nursing
in 2012.
As a nurse practitioner, Beach’s passion is to educate families and patients on their diagnoses while
incorporating all outside influences into the treatment plan. She ascribes to a holistic approach in
treatment; incorporating the family unit, school, and other social aspects in order for patients to
flourish and grow to their fullest potential. She utilizes other wellness interventions to support
patients’ mental health goals. She also collaborates with therapists, medical providers, and school
interventionists to assure the highest quality care is delivered and patient mental health needs are
met.
Zepf Center offers outpatient treatment options for both mental health and substance abuse. Zepf Center
services consist of psychiatric, medication management, case management, and therapy services for both
adult and child/adolescent residents of Wood County.
